{"id":2588,"date":"2019-01-17T05:52:40","date_gmt":"2019-01-17T10:52:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/covingtonestateshoa.com\/?p=2588"},"modified":"2019-01-17T05:52:40","modified_gmt":"2019-01-17T10:52:40","slug":"hillsborough-county-trash-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/covingtonestateshoa.com\/?p=2588","title":{"rendered":"Hillsborough County Trash Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2590\" src=\"http:\/\/covingtonestateshoa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/box-cardboard-carton-1055712-e1547722002578.jpg\" alt=\"Photo by Luka Siemionov from Pexels\" width=\"368\" height=\"245\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A message from Hillsborough County:<\/p>\n<p>Residents in New Tampa communities receive service for trash, recycling, and yard waste through Hillsborough County, assessed as an annual non-ad valorem fee on property tax bills. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hillsboroughcounty.org\/en\/residents\/property-owners-and-renters\/trash-and-recycling\/what-can-i-throw-away-in-my-carts\">Solid waste services<\/a> provided for Hillsborough County\u2019s residential customers as part of the annual fee include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Curbside trash collection, twice a week<\/li>\n<li>Curbside recycling collection, once a week<\/li>\n<li>Curbside yard waste collection, once a week<\/li>\n<li>Use of several Hillsborough County Solid Waste facilities where residents can dispose of many types of waste that aren\u2019t allowed in, or are too large for, the regular trash or recyclables cart:\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hillsboroughcounty.org\/en\/residents\/property-owners-and-renters\/trash-and-recycling\/discarding-household-hazardous-waste\">Household Hazardous Waste<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hillsboroughcounty.org\/en\/residents\/property-owners-and-renters\/trash-and-recycling\/discarding-paint-and-electronics\">Paint &amp; electronics<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hillsboroughcounty.org\/en\/residents\/property-owners-and-renters\/trash-and-recycling\/discarding-appliances-and-bulky-items\">Appliances and bulky items<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hillsboroughcounty.org\/en\/residents\/property-owners-and-renters\/trash-and-recycling\/discarding-yard-and-wood-waste\">Yard &amp; wood waste<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hillsboroughcounty.org\/en\/residents\/property-owners-and-renters\/trash-and-recycling\/discarding-uncollected-household-trash\">General household trash<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>New Tampa Neighborhood, Civic, Homeowner Associations, Crime Watch Programs, and Special Taxing Districts may also be eligible for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hillsboroughcounty.org\/en\/residents\/property-owners-and-renters\/homeowners-and-neighborhoods\/action-folder\/apply-for-community-clean-up-grant\">Community Clean-up Grants<\/a>.
