Below are a few tips to follow and precautions to protect yourself, your family, your home.

Fireworks Safety

  • Fireworks should only be used outdoors.
  • Parents should not allow young children to handle or use fireworks.
  • Children should not pick up spent fireworks, as the fireworks may still be active.
  • Leave pets at home and indoors during festive fireworks celebrations.

Reminder: Drive Cautiously

Covington Estates HOA would like to remind residents to adhere to the posted 20-miles per hour speed limit.

With the warmer temperatures and school being out for the summer, many children and adults alike are out and about throughout our community.

Please take the time to remind all of the drivers in your household as well as visitors to obey the speed limit, come to a complete stop at the stop signs, and drive cautiously throughout Covington Estates.

At 20 mph the stopping distance needed is 69 feet. Statistics have shown that the incident of pedestrians and bicyclists hit by a car are three times higher in a residential neighborhood that those recorded on the highways.

Thank you for your cooperation. Keep Covington Estates Safe!
