Covington Estates is a deed-restricted community.  Property owners are subject to certain restrictions regarding the use and maintenance of their property.  These restrictions are contained within the governing documents below. Additionally, the rules for the operation of the Covington at Cross Creek Homeowners Association, Inc. are contained within the governing documents below.

Architectural Guidelines

Architectural Review Committee (ARC) approval is required for any alterations to the exterior of your home or lot including, but not limited to, painting, fence installation, sheds or structural changes to your home in accordance with our deed restrictions. Articles of Incorporation

The Articles of Incorporation for Covington at Cross Creek Homeowners Association, Inc. were filed on April 8, 1998 and assigned document number N98000002039.  Covington at Cross Creek Homeowners Association, Inc. is a Florida Not for Profit Corporation. For additional information,  please visit our Articles of Incorporation page.

Bylaws

The Bylaws are the guidelines for the operation of the Covington at Cross Creek Homeowners Association, Inc. The Bylaws define the duties of the various offices of the Board of Directors, the terms of the Directors, the membership’s voting rights, required meetings and notices of meetings, and the principal office of the Association, as well as other specific items that are necessary to run the Association as a business.  For additional information,  please visit our Bylaws page.

Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions

The rules of the HOA community are set forth in what is called the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs). The goal of the CC&Rs is protect, preserve, and enhance property values in the community. Noise Control Ordinance

Hillsborough County Ordinance 36-429, known as the Noise Control Ordinance, provides for regulations requiring the effective control and the elimination of noise disturbance. The intent of this ordinance is to protect, promote, and preserve the health, safety, welfare, peace and quiet of the citizens of Hillsborough County through the reduction, control, and prevention of noise disturbance.  For additional information,  please visit our Noise Control Ordinance page.

Plat Map

The Covington Estates subdivision plat maps show the subdivision of land into lots and/or tracts. Annotation includes boundary lines and description, lot dimensions, directional bearings, street names, lot numbers, tracts, easements, and right-of-ways.  Official plats are kept as records of Hillsborough County.  For additional information,  please visit our Plat Map page.

Property Maintenance Code

Hillsborough County Ordinance 09-63, known as the Property Maintenance Code, provides for regulations requiring the maintenance of all structures and properties within the unincorporated areas of Hillsborough County.
