The garbage and recycling cart swap-out period is under way through March 15.  The recently distributed recycling and trash roll carts can be swapped for a smaller size if desired.  If a resident wants to exchange a roll cart, a one-time size change at no charge can be arranged by contacting our Franchise Collector, Republic Services, or emailing the Solid Waste Customer Service Center by March 15, 2014.  Roll cart size changes after March 15, 2014 will incur a $30 charge each.

Other Important Reminders:

  • Three-Foot Rule – At the curb, place the carts at least 3 feet away from other carts, mailboxes, cars, trees, shrubs, fire hydrants and utility poles.
  • Everything Must Fit Inside The Carts – Items left outside the carts cannot be picked up by the mechanical arm on a collection vehicle and will not be picked up.
  • Garbage, recyclables, and yard waste should be placed out no later than 6:00 AM on  collection days.  Containers are required to be kept out of sight on non-collection days.
