New Garbage & Recycling Collection

Beginning the week of September 30th, Hillsborough County will start automated residential garbage and recycling collection.  Automated collection is where garbage and recycling containers are emptied using a mechanical arm on the collection vehicle instead of workers lifting containers by hand.  Beginning August 1st, a grey 95-gallon wheeled can for garbage and a blue 65-gallon blue wheeled can for recyclables – will be delivered to homes.  For more information, visit http://www.HillsboroughCounty.org/TalkTrash.
